We are pleased to announce that Stablecoin Standard, the industry body for stablecoin issuers globally, has joined the Digital Pound Foundation as a new strategic partner. Stablecoin Standard brings together industry experts from some of the biggest names in stablecoin development and crypto, expertise from liquidity providers and regulatory and compliance professionals and other ecosystem partners.

Stablecoin Standard was established to represent the ‘shared voice’ of stablecoin stakeholders, and to promote the acceptance of stablecoins through education, resources, shared initiatives and its proprietary StableCheck™️scheme. As a strategic partner, the firm will collaborate with the DPF on areas of mutual interest with respect to the emergence and development of public and private forms of digital money. Both parties will further benefit from exposure to each other’s member communities and wider networks with respect to participation in educational and thought leadership events, working groups, roundtables and other activities.

Ramy Soliman, Policy Lead and Co-Founder, Stablecoin Standard: “We are delighted to be partnering with the Digital Pound Foundation and excited to be working with them to educate and promote acceptance of new forms of digital money. Stablecoins play an increasingly significant role in the digital asset world, particularly with respect to payments functions that facilitate digital asset trading and lending via public blockchains. As the digital money debate continues, we believe it’s important to cooperate and collaborate with other industry networks and organisations like DPF to support external stakeholders – from regulators to Joe Public – to understand and embrace new digital currencies and technologies.”

Jannah Patchay, Executive Director and Policy Lead, Digital Pound Foundation: “We welcome Stablecoin Standard to the Digital Pound Foundation ecosystem as a strategic partner, and look forward to a collaboration in which we can leverage each other’s wide and deep digital industry experience and expertise. This partnership will play a key role in our ongoing mission to convene the future ecosystem around new forms of digital money and to promote diversity, competitiveness and effectiveness across market participants.”
