We are very pleased to announce the addition of SETL to the Digital Pound Foundation’s membership community. SETL joins the Foundation as an Associate Member and will participate in, among other activities, the Use Case Working Group and Policy, Legal and Regulatory Working Group.
SETL is an enterprise DLT firm which is part of the Colendi Group. Established in 2016, SETL provides DLT enabled infrastructure and integration services for banks and capital markets firms. SETL provides an interoperability framework, LedgerSwarm, that connects to both traditional and DLT ledgers and manages the synchronisation between ledgers to achieve transfers of traditional and tokenized assets and cash. In December 2021, SETL demonstrated an RLN technology processing 1 million transactions per second hosted on AWS infrastructure.
Anthony Culligan, CEO of SETL, commented: “SETL are delighted to join the Digital Pound Foundation. SETL’s LedgerSwarm product is borne out of its extensive work on the Regulated Liabilities Network and its passion to enable a truly digital financial infrastructure. This aligns with the goals of the DPF by providing an ecosystem that can support the many forms of digital money and asset tokenization, while offering interoperability across platforms. SETL are looking forward to working closely with the DPF and their members.”
Michelle Brook, Membership and Community Manager, Digital Pound Foundation added: “Interoperability is such a key part of the conversation related to CBDCs and other new forms of digital money. We are delighted to welcome SETL to join the DPF, as they bring such a wealth of experience on this, and other areas of focus for us.”
